Istanbul Carpet Exporters' Association (IHİB) is one of the symbol organizations of the Turkish carpet industry, as it is one of the most important organizations in the Turkish carpet industry and is located in Istanbul, where a large part of the carpet trade is carried out.

Established in 1989, Istanbul Carpet Exporters' Association (IHİB) continues its activities as one of the 4 exporters' unions under the umbrella of the Istanbul Textile and Apparel Exporters' Associations General Secretariat.

Istanbul Carpet Exporters' Association (IHİB) represents the Turkish carpet export industry to a large extent, since approximately 20% of Turkey's total carpet exports and almost all of the hand-made carpet exports are carried out by IHİB member companies.

The main purpose of the Istanbul Carpet Exporters' Association (IHİB), which has around 500 carpet exporting companies, most of which are located in Istanbul and its surroundings, is to increase Turkey's export potential in the carpet industry, to increase its export performance and within this scope to assist its members in all their export-related works.

On the other hand, beyond these aims, of course, İHİB aims to defend and protect the interests of the sector at the highest level by representing Turkish carpet exporting companies both in national and international platforms and in the public eye.

Istanbul Carpet Exporters' Association (IHİB) carries out many activities to achieve this goal.
